What will you be doing?

This is a volunteer role for a Treasurer who sits on the board of trustees. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Daily tasks may include monitoring financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and providing financial guidance to the board of directors.

  • Financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in monitoring financial transactions and preparing financial statements.

Commitment

The board meets 4 times per year, so the treasurer is expected to provide a financial overview of the charity at each meeting to ensure close monitoring and compliance of spending. Estimated 4 hours a month contribution to the charity. The role will mainly be remote with occasional trustee meetings taking place in London.
