Volunteer Social Media Editors for Community-Led Environmental Charity | East London Waterworks Park

Join us to apply for the Volunteer Social Media Editors role at East London Waterworks Park.

Overview

Shape the future of East London Waterworks Park! We're seeking volunteers to support and co-lead our social media editorial team, driving impactful communications and campaigns for community-owned green and blue spaces.

What You'll Do
  • Support the creation of a biodiverse, community-owned park with natural swimming ponds.
  • Edit and strategize social media voices to foster community engagement, education, and support for the park's mission.
  • Manage content creation including posts, stories, and multimedia across platforms.
  • Lead social media campaigns, storytelling, and editorial calendar planning.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team and gain real-world communications experience.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
  • Skills in content creation (text, images, videos) and analytics.
  • Ability to develop engaging campaigns and narratives around environmental issues.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and community-led initiatives.
