We’re looking for skilled, committed volunteers to help us build a movement to end single-use plastic packaging. Be part of the change.
What difference will you make?
Volunteers at the REUSE Foundation play a crucial role in transforming how the world thinks about plastic. By contributing their time, skills, and energy, volunteers directly help:
- Shift the Narrative: Shape campaigns and communications that challenge greenwashing, raise awareness, and spotlight scalable solutions to single-use plastic.
- Amplify Reuse Innovation: Help identify, support, and elevate reuse pioneers and businesses around the world that need visibility and partnerships to grow.
- Drive Policy Change: Support policy advocacy and influence decision-makers to prioritize reuse and refill systems over token recycling commitments.
- Secure Funding for Change: Help build relationships with funders, philanthropists, and companies to accelerate the reuse movement.
- Build Public Momentum: Create engaging outreach that motivates consumers to rethink habits and demand systemic solutions.
What are we looking for?
We're especially keen to hear from people with 5+ years of experience in:
- Fundraising & Philanthropy: Experience writing successful grant applications or managing relationships with funders. Knowledge of trusts, foundations, or donor networks focused on the environment or circular economy. Ability to identify and research funding opportunities and help craft compelling cases for support.
- Corporate Outreach & Partnerships: Background in CSR, ESG, or sustainability partnerships. Ability to initiate and manage relationships with mission-aligned companies. Strategic thinking to design mutual value propositions for brand partners.
- Communications & Campaigns: Strategic communications experience—especially in non-profit or sustainability sectors. Strong writing and storytelling skills (campaigns, reports, social media). Experience in stakeholder engagement, coalition-building, or advocacy is a plus.
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities include supporting campaigns, outreach, partnership development, and advocacy efforts aligned with our mission to end single-use plastic packaging.
