The Borgen Project is an organization dedicated to reducing global poverty by influencing foreign policy in the US and UK. With over 20 years of experience, we have supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Position: Regional Director

As a Regional Director, you will act as an ambassador in your city, mobilizing your community to contact government officials and support poverty reduction legislation. No lobbying experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with local government leaders to advocate for legislation that improves conditions for the world's poor.
• Mobilize community members to contact their government representatives about poverty reduction.
• Manage fundraising campaigns.
• Build and maintain a network of supporters.
• Represent The Borgen Project in your city.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of politics and international development.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
