Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? The Borgen Project is an international organization working to improve living conditions for those impacted by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, we support legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Regional Director - You don’t need to be a lobbyist to help influence foreign policy. As a Regional Director, you’ll serve as an ambassador in your city, mobilizing your community to contact government officials in support of poverty reduction legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet with local government leaders and lobby for legislation that benefits the world's poor.
  2. Mobilize community members to contact their government representatives regarding poverty legislation.
  3. Manage and implement fundraising campaigns.
  4. Build and maintain a network of engaged supporters.
  5. Represent The Borgen Project as its ambassador in your city.
Qualifications
  1. Basic understanding of politics and international development.
  2. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  3. Strong team player with innovative ideas.
  4. Decisive with good judgment.
  5. Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).

  • Salary: Unpaid
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Hours: 4-6 hours/week
