Overview

Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.

As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them reach their goals.

The Volunteer Recovery Coordinator Support Role will support service users through drug and alcohol treatment by assisting care coordinators. This includes brief interventions, group work, recovery care planning, and signposting to specialist services.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be working as part of the substance misuse team based in Hastings.

No two days are the same, and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual. Being flexible, curious, and a good listener are key qualities.

We will support you in this volunteering role by providing regular supervision and on-site guidance for day-to-day questions. In return, you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. You’ll also be making a real difference.
