An established industry player is seeking a compassionate Volunteer Recovery Support Worker to join their dedicated team. This role is pivotal in supporting women facing complex challenges, including substance misuse and mental health issues. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide essential support, promote recovery, and enhance community involvement. Women’s Wellness Zone is a specialist woman only project within CGL- Ealing RISES’ wider service of supporting individuals address their use of alcohol and drugs.
As the Women’s Wellness Zone continues to increase its provision of access and support for women with multiple complex support needs, a vacancy has arisen for a Volunteer Recovery Support Worker position.
They will need to have a specialism in Mental Health, Substance Use, Criminal Justice, and VAWG.
The specialist team at the Women’s Wellness Zone supports women who are experiencing:
You will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team of Recovery Practitioners, Doctors, Nurses, Psychiatrists, and Psychologists, to deliver high-quality provision from point of entry into the Women’s Wellness Zone.

You will need to work flexibly with hours to suit service need.
The team is hub-based and there are opportunities to work from different sites across Ealing borough.
We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision, Reflective Practice / Clinical Supervision and have a Team member on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and guidance.
