An established industry player is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as Volunteer Recovery Practitioners. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the drug and alcohol support sector. Volunteers will provide essential advice on harm minimisation, assist in assessments, and help individuals connect with community resources. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude. Location:Surrey (Guildford, Woking & Redhill)
Days:2+ days per week (days are flexible)
How you can help
This role would be ideal for someone looking to develop their experience in the drug and alcohol field. While some knowledge of the sector is desirable, we are looking for people who have a passion for the work that we do. A positive attitude and the desire to learn are essential, as is a non-judgmental and supportive approach to people who are facing problems with drugs and alcohol.
Volunteer Recovery Practitioners are a vital part of our services and help with a wide range of care and support.

You’ll also be expected to participate in team meetings and carry out other tasks where necessary to support the needs of the service.
