Volunteer: Public Relations/Marketing Programme

Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Look no further! The Borgen Project is an international organization working to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, we have supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

This is a part-time, 12-hours per week, 12-week unpaid remote programme. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks. The role focuses on raising awareness of our work and includes:

  • Creating a branding campaign
  • Conducting focus groups and gathering feedback for market research
  • Pitching story ideas to media outlets
  • Creating and implementing a fundraising strategy
  • Planning, marketing, and presenting at informational meetings
  • Utilizing social media and developing web messaging strategies
  • Assisting with advocacy efforts

Experience: No prior experience necessary. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.

Details: This is an unpaid programme; college credit is available.

Start Date: New programmes begin monthly. You can choose your start month.
