Volunteer: Public Relations/Marketing Programme

The Borgen Project is an international organization dedicated to reducing global poverty by influencing U.S. and U.K. foreign policy. With 20 years of experience, we have supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Role Overview: This is a part-time, unpaid, remote programme requiring 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. You can accelerate your participation if desired. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating branding campaigns
  • Conducting focus groups and market research
  • Pitching story ideas to media outlets
  • Developing fundraising strategies
  • Planning and presenting informational meetings
  • Utilizing social media for messaging strategies
  • Supporting advocacy efforts

Experience: No prior experience necessary; we value passion for fighting poverty over academic background.
