The Borgen Project is an organization dedicated to reducing global poverty by influencing foreign policy in the US and UK. With 20 years of advocacy experience, it has supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Role Details

This is a part-time, unpaid remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. You can complete it sooner if desired. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating branding campaigns
  • Conducting focus groups and market research
  • Pitching story ideas to media outlets
  • Developing fundraising strategies
  • Planning and presenting informational meetings
  • Utilizing social media for messaging
  • Supporting advocacy efforts
Requirements

No prior experience necessary. Passion for fighting poverty is key. College credit may be available.
