The Borgen Project is an international organisation that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine, and poverty.

With 20 years of experience in advocacy, The Borgen Project has supported bills benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

PR/Marketing Programme: This is a part-time, unpaid, remote programme requiring 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme sooner.

The role focuses on raising awareness of our work and includes:

• Creating a branding campaign
• Conducting informal focus groups and gathering feedback for market research
• Pitching story ideas to media outlets
• Creating and implementing fundraising strategies
• Planning, marketing, and presenting at informational meetings
• Utilising social media and developing web messaging strategies
• Assisting with advocacy efforts

Experience: No prior experience necessary. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.

Details: This is an unpaid programme, but college credit may be available.

Start Date: New programmes start monthly; you may choose your start month.
