The Borgen Project is an international organization working to address global poverty by influencing U.S. and U.K. foreign policy. With 20 years of experience, it has supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Role Details

This is a part-time, unpaid remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. You can complete it sooner if desired. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating branding campaigns
  • Conducting focus groups and market research
  • Pitching story ideas to media outlets
  • Developing fundraising strategies
  • Planning and presenting informational meetings
  • Utilizing social media and web messaging strategies
  • Supporting advocacy efforts
Experience and Benefits

No prior experience is required. Passion for fighting poverty is what matters. College credit may be available.

Additional Details

Start dates are flexible; new programmes begin monthly. This opportunity is in partnership with VolunteerMatch and LinkedIn for Good.
