Main Purpose of Role

Do you enjoy working with young people? We are looking for people from all areas of our community to come and join our Volunteer Police Cadet programme as Cadet Leaders.

Whether you are retired, in full or part-time work, we need your valuable skills and experience that will help cadets prepare for their future careers.

As a Volunteer Police Cadet Leader, you’ll be part of a team that works with cadets based throughout Nottinghamshire.

Cadets meet one evening a week for two hours to gain insight into the various departments within the force, learn a range of life skills and take part in community and sports activities. As a Volunteer Police Cadet Leader, you will need to be able to commit to at least 4 hours a month to attend cadet base meetings and public events, delivering crime prevention advice and general public engagement initiatives.
