What difference will you make?

In this role, you will help Bridging Beyond expand its impact by identifying, developing, and securing partnerships with businesses, community organisations, and other potential collaborators. What are we looking for?

  1. Personal Attributes
  • Proactive and Goal-Oriented – You take initiative and are motivated to actively develop and secure partnerships, not just explore opportunities.
  • Confident and Persuasive Communicator – You can effectively engage with organisations, articulate Bridging Beyond’s mission, and build strong professional relationships.
  • Strategic Thinker – You can assess potential partnerships, understand mutual benefits, and negotiate agreements that align with both parties' goals.
  • Organised and Detail-Oriented – You can track outreach efforts, manage partnership agreements, and ensure commitments are followed through.
  • Adaptable and Resilient – You are comfortable navigating different organisational structures, adjusting approaches as needed, and persisting through challenges.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Networking and Relationship Management – Experience or confidence in engaging with external organisations, whether through outreach, business development, fundraising, or partnership-building.
    • Communication and Negotiation Skills – Ability to initiate conversations, build rapport, and secure commitments from potential partners.
    • Project Coordination – Some experience managing agreements, tracking commitments, and ensuring partnerships are maintained effectively.
    • Research and Outreach – Ability to identify potential partners, research their alignment with Bridging Beyond’s mission, and craft compelling outreach messages.
    • Technical Skills – Basic familiarity with Google Workspace and spreadsheets to manage partnership contacts and agreements.

This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in partnership-building, outreach, and negotiation while contributing to meaningful social change.
