Lead marketing for Steeev CIC to grow awareness, drive engagement, and support men’s mental health by promoting friendship and community through our platform.

As Marketing Lead, you’ll shape how Steeev is seen, heard, and understood by the men who need us most. Your work will help normalise male friendship, challenge the stigma around loneliness, and drive engagement with a platform that can genuinely change lives. By building awareness and sparking interest, you’ll directly contribute to helping more men feel connected, supported, and part of something bigger — potentially preventing isolation, improving mental health, and even saving lives.

What are we looking for?

Essential Skills & Experience Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messaging Experience in marketing, communications, or content creation (professional, freelance, or voluntary) Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g. Canva, Mailchimp, Buffer, Meta Business Suite) Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule Desirable Experience Experience working with or marketing to male audiences Understanding of social impact, mental health, or community-building initiatives Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, or social media analytics Experience working with small teams, start-ups, or CICs/charities Confidence developing a brand tone of voice and maintaining consistency across platforms Personal Qualities Passionate about men’s wellbeing, connection, and mental health Creative thinker with a practical mindset — able to make things happen with limited resources Inclusive, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent communicator Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely Collaborative and open to feedback, with a genuine desire to contribute to social good

What will you be doing?

Steeev CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise on a mission to reduce male loneliness and improve mental wellbeing through friendship. We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and hands-on Marketing Lead to shape and deliver marketing activity that grows our reach, builds our community, and helps more men connect through Steeev.com. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a simple, effective marketing strategy aligned with Steeev’s goals Manage digital marketing activity (email, social media, content, basic SEO) Craft compelling messaging that resonates with men and normalises seeking friendship Create and publish engaging content (posts, blogs, newsletters, campaigns) Support outreach efforts to reach key audiences (e.g. construction, students, new dads) Collaborate with other team members on events, campaigns, and platform launches Track basic analytics and make recommendations for improvement
