An established industry player is seeking passionate volunteers to engage in the interview process for new recruits. This role is crucial for ensuring that the perspectives of unpaid carers are represented during hiring. Volunteers will participate in interviews at the office in Burpham, Surrey, contributing to a fair and inclusive recruitment process. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided to equip volunteers with the necessary skills. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting fellow carers.
It is important that registered carers feel understood by our paid staff and volunteers. Therefore, as part of our recruitment process, we have carer volunteers to join the interview panel and ask specific questions from a carer perspective. This helps us recruit the right person into the right role, with qualities that are important to carers.
We are looking for volunteers to support the interview process.
We anticipate the time commitment to be 3 or 4 times a year, and the interviews will all take place in person at our offices in Burpham, Surrey. This means that the successful candidate will need to travel to this location. Mileage and travel costs are paid.
You must be an unpaid carer, looking after a family member or friend. No previous experience of interviewing or recruitment is necessary, and training and induction will be provided.
