About the role

We are seeking one or two volunteers to lead the research, planning, and execution of fundraising activities in the Inverness area. You will lead a team of fundraisers with support from the Fundraising Hub.

Impact of your work

Your efforts will help us continue our vital work for cats, their owners, and communities—campaigning, advising, neutering, and rehoming. You will lead a team of volunteers, plan community and online fundraising activities, and engage with the community to expand our reach.

What we are looking for
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to motivate others
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate
  • Responsibility in handling money and charity resources
  • Effective communication skills and community engagement
  • Experience in creating and implementing fundraising strategies
  • At least 3 years in community fundraising or income generation
  • IT skills for using Cats Protection systems (training provided)
  • Ability to sit on a Committee as a Team Leader to influence branch direction
Responsibilities

You will inspire and support fundraising volunteers, plan and oversee community fundraising events, allocate tasks, maintain financial records, liaise with the Community Fundraising Hub, and ensure compliance with policies and permits such as Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Safeguarding.

This is a volunteer role with senior responsibilities, supporting our mission to help thousands of cats each year through community donations.
