What will you be doing?

Purpose of the Role: To coordinate and support a range of fundraising activities and initiatives to generate income for Citizens Advice Fareham, enabling us to achieve our mission of providing free, independent, impartial, and confidential advice to the people of Fareham and the surrounding areas. The Fundraising Coordinator will play a key role in building relationships with donors, volunteers, and the wider community to maximise fundraising potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planning and Coordination: Manage various fundraising events and campaigns, including sponsored walks, gala dinners, online appeals, and community events. Handle logistics like venue booking, catering, permits, and volunteer recruitment.
  2. Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with community groups, local businesses, and schools. Support community fundraising initiatives and provide resources and guidance to external fundraisers. Represent the charity at community events and networking opportunities.
  3. Marketing and Communications: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging fundraising materials, including online content, social media posts, and printed materials. Promote fundraising events to maximise participation and donations. Ensure all activities adhere to the charity's brand guidelines.
  4. Volunteer Management: Support fundraising volunteers, ensuring they are well-informed and motivated. Coordinate volunteer schedules and recognise their contributions.
  5. General: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve the charity's overall objectives.
