Support the launch of a groundbreaking performing arts and leadership school for boys

What difference will you make?

By joining us as a fundraiser, you’ll play a pivotal role in launching a first-of-its-kind Saturday Creative School for boys in the UK. Your work will directly help secure vital funding to support the artistic director (currently working unpaid) and create a pathway for a paid fundraiser role (which you may step into yourself). You’ll be the driving force behind the school’s ability to operate, grow, and become sustainable, enabling us to deliver high-impact creative, leadership, and innovation programmes for boys aged 7–18 who are currently under-represented and underserved in education and the arts. This is not just about raising money, it's about building legacy. The school is designed to be a transformative space where young Black boys can perform, lead, and innovate with confidence, cultural pride, and faith. With your help, we will offer a generation of boys a structured, nurturing environment grounded in performing arts, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and leadership development. Your fundraising work will enable The first pilot programme to be launched in 2026 Dozens of boys to access high-quality creative education and role models A faith-based alternative to exclusion and low expectations A national model for future growth and replication You’ll be part of a visionary movement with long-term plans for a full-time school. Your impact will not only be seen in the lives of individual boys, but also in the communities, families, and futures they go on to shape.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about social impact, youth empowerment, and building something meaningful from the ground up. Ideally, you’ll have Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or writing compelling funding applications (even at a basic level) Strong written communication and research skills A proactive, self-motivated approach, you’re comfortable working independently and taking initiative An interest in education, the arts, racial equity, or faith-based projects Good organisational skills and attention to detail Confidence using online tools (Google Docs, email, basic spreadsheets) This role is perfect for someone who is freelance, semi-retired, or early in their fundraising career and wants to build experience with a dynamic, values-led project. You don’t need to have decades of experience, we’re open to the right heart and skillset.

What will you be doing?

This Saturday school is a Black-led, Christian-rooted creative school for boys aged 7–18, offering performing arts, leadership, and innovation training in a culturally affirming, faith-informed environment. Our tagline “Where young Black creators perform, lead change, and innovate.” We are currently preparing to launch our flagship Saturday School in Stratford (East London) in 2026 and are seeking a passionate, experienced volunteer fundraiser to help us unlock key funding to grow our vision.
