How you can help
Could you help someone struggling with their mental wellbeing to access local services, file a complaint, or find out more about their entitlements? Could you help someone understand the information they have been given when discharged from hospital?
You could help someone improve their situation while they are learning to manage their mental well-being.
This role is ideal for those studying subjects related to mental health, social work students, and anyone with an interest in Community Mental Health.
Relevant Person’s Representative (RPR) Support Volunteers
Do you have the patience and understanding to chat with people in care homes about their experiences there? Could you help improve the life of someone in a care home by listening to their feelings, thoughts, and wishes?
You could help support people who have no one else.
This role is ideal for social work students, those interested in the care sector, and/or dementia care.
