Job summary

Involve Kent in Maidstone is seeking a part-time Volunteer Experience Officer to improve volunteering systems and provide strong support from enquiry through onboarding and beyond.

You will work with the Head of Engagement and Partnerships to streamline recruitment, onboarding, record-keeping and compliance, delivering sustainable processes that help volunteers thrive in a dynamic community setting.

Hours of work: Part-time 22.5 hours per week (3 days)
Annual Leave: Up to £26,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Fixed term – 9 months

We are looking for a Volunteer Experience Officer to help strengthen and improve the systems, processes and administration that support volunteering at Involve. Working closely with our Head of Engagement and Partnerships and Volunteer Coordinator, you will help ensure that every volunteer has a consistent, positive and well-supported experience from initial enquiry through to onboarding and beyond. You will take an organisation-wide view of volunteering, helping to streamline recruitment and onboarding processes, improve record keeping and compliance, and support the development of efficient, sustainable ways of working that enable volunteers to thrive.
