Lancashire Volunteer Partnership within Lancashire County Council is recruiting a Volunteer Officer to recruit, support and coordinate volunteers in Chorley and South Ribble. You will work with volunteers and community organisations to create meaningful opportunities across county services.

The role requires coordinating projects, strong communication and safeguarding practices, plus the ability to manage your workload within a team. A generous benefits package applies.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, induct and support volunteers throughout their volunteering journey.
• Coordinate volunteering activities and community projects.
• Build positive partnerships with local organisations and groups.
• Monitor volunteering activity, outcomes and impact, and keep records accurate.
• Promote safeguarding to ensure volunteering is safe, inclusive and effective.
