Battle Scars is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to support volunteers across services in a hybrid role with Leeds-based meetings. You will oversee induction, training, and ongoing development, ensuring accurate records and reliable volunteer cover while liaising with external organisations and supporting hub operations.
The role requires lived experience of self-harm, experience with volunteers, and strong organisational and communication skills; DBS is required and Battle Scars covers the cost.

Location: Hybrid – Remote with occasional meetings in Leeds
Salary: £32,197 p.a.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months (with possible extension for two more years)
This role plays a central part in ensuring volunteers feel supported, confident and equipped to deliver high‑quality peer support. The successful candidate will directly influence volunteer engagement, service consistency and the overall effectiveness of our peer‑support model.
