Birmingham LGBT is recruiting a Volunteer Co-Ordinator to join our community sexual health team to build capacity within the sexual health service and other Birmingham LGBT services through a team of volunteers who will carry out vital supporting roles for the organisation delivering services that meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people in Birmingham and Solihull.
The successful applicant will join a motivated and enthusiastic team based at the Birmingham LGBT Centre in central Birmingham and will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting a team of volunteers, and co-ordinating their volunteering activities to support and enhance delivery of our services.
Reports to: Sexual Health Services Manager
Terms:
£30,845 per annum (pro-rata) – 18.5 hours per week (plus up to 5% matched pension contributions)
Working on a rota basis including evening and weekend work and some travel to sites in Birmingham and Solihull.
25 days' annual leave per annum (pro-rata) plus bank holidays.
Permanent contract.
