Are you experienced in administration and do you want to make an important contribution to our Community?

This role primarily offers administrative support to our Independent Advisory Groups, who play a valuable role acting as a ‘critical friend’ to the organisation. There will also be opportunities to support Hampshire and IOW Police and your Community.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will assist the Citizens in Policing Co-ordinator with administration.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Provide administrative support across all volunteering strands.
  2. Maintain a central record of IAG members, including contact information and attendance records.
  3. Collate and distribute the IAG agenda and supporting documents prior to each meeting.
  4. Take and distribute IAG minutes, redacting minutes for publication on the force website.
  5. Assist with maintaining the IAG intranet page.
  6. Support the Observer Scheme application process.

Candidates should be computer/keyboard literate and competent in keyboard use. Customer Service Skills are also essential.
