Job summary

Join a compassionate initiative aimed at reducing loneliness in the Stalham area. As a volunteer, you will provide companionship to a female client who is living with chronic illnesses, taking her out for car rides to enjoy the seaside. Job description

Role:
Do you have a spare hour or two each week?

We are currently looking to recruit a volunteer in the Stalham area who has a car to take a female client out for a car ride ‘to see the sea’, for companionship and social connection as she is experiencing loneliness. You will be reimbursed for your travel expenses. She is living with chronic illnesses and this interaction would help her cope with this and have something to look forward to. CAN Connect volunteers really make a difference to people’s lives and you would be joining a team of volunteers who are helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation across North Norfolk and Breckland.

Time commitment:
1 – 2 hours per week.

About the organisation:
CAN Connect is delivered by Community Action Norfolk and Future Projects and covers North Norfolk, Breckland and parts of Broadland. It is part of a range of services across Norfolk aimed at reducing loneliness and isolation.
