Job description

Overview

It’s often overwhelming for the people we support to make changes in their lives. As an activity and recovery events volunteer, you will play a key role in providing a safe space for our service users to get together, connect, and have fun.

This is a new and exciting opportunity for someone to develop our social activity programme. You will take the lead in organising, promoting, and facilitating fun recovery-focused activities like bingo, movie nights, and group walks.

Responsibilities

You will be responding to the needs of our service, looking at what new activities we could develop that would strengthen and enhance the opportunities on offer to the people who access our service.

You will be working alongside the staff team and volunteers, liaising with our partners, and building and strengthening links with the wider community.

This is a rewarding and exciting role for someone who wants to make a difference in their community.
