Job Introduction

Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Volkswagen Evesham.

The hours of work for our Vehicle Technicians are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 1pm.

Basic Salary up to £35,000 with OTE up to £38,000 plus benefits.

Role And Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and diagnose all vehicles, ensuring high standards first time.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning.
• Additional responsibilities include repairs on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
• Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• Understand and prioritize Customer Satisfaction.
• Operate systems like video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
• Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with workshop team to share knowledge and learn.

About You

• Experience in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, or similar roles.
• Experience in independent garages, fast fit centres, car supermarkets, or main dealerships is welcome.
• Hold or work towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• MOT license is beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK Driving license.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with a commitment to high standards.
