A leading automotive company in Canterbury seeks a Service Technician/Mechanic Apprentice. In this role, you will learn vehicle diagnostics, repair services, and customer interaction skills. Candidates should have GCSEs in key subjects and an eagerness to develop in a technical environment, which offers great career prospects post-apprenticeship.

Programme and training details will be delivered by Inspiro Learning, with a mix of virtual classroom remote learning and face-to-face weekly blocks at our state-of-the-art training centre. In the workplace, a dedicated mentor will support ongoing learning as you apply skills gained through remote sessions and at the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre. This is a fully rounded training experience where you will gain apprenticeship qualifications and brand certifications.
The apprentice will join the Service department and help deliver right-first-time fixes and excellent customer service. Duties will include the following responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of products including traditional, hybrid and electric engines, gaining varied technical training across heritage vehicles and modern technology.

Minimum Entry Requirements
GCSE grades 9–4 (A–C) in English, Maths and Science. In Scotland, Scottish National 5 Grades A–C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject. “Equivalent” grades include BTEC diplomas/certs, OCR Nationals, Key Skills Level 2, NVQs, Essential Skills (Wales), Functional Skills Level 2, Core Skills (Scotland). Predicted grades can be considered with conditional offers possible.
