About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Void Supervisor to join our team within the social housing sector. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all void property works from initial inspection through to completion, ensuring that properties are brought back to a lettable standard efficiently, safely, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of operatives and subcontractors delivering void property works.
  • Carry out pre- and post-inspections of void properties to scope and specify works.
  • Ensure all works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high quality standard.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety compliance on all sites.
  • Manage budgets, materials, and resources effectively.
  • Liaise with tenants, housing officers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within social housing or a similar property maintenance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance and void works processes.
  • Excellent people management and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret schedules of works and specifications.
  • Full UK driving licence (company van and fuel card provided).
  • IT literate with good reporting and record-keeping skills.
