Job summary

GreenSquareAccord Limited is seeking a Cleaner for Empty Homes in Birmingham (field based). The role involves cleaning empty properties before and after works to ensure a ready-to-let standard.

A DBS check will be required after offer, and a valid driving license with access to a vehicle is essential. You will clean both internal and external areas, follow supplier instructions for cleaners, and ensure safety devices are properly fitted and maintained in your area.

• Ability to follow cleaning materials and safety instructions.
• Must hold a valid driving license and have access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Clean empty properties before and after work, including pre-cleans and post-works to a ready-to-let standard.
• Maintain internal and external cleanliness (windows, frames, doors, kitchen fittings, floors, carpets).
• Ensure safety devices are checked and maintained in assigned areas.

Job Title: Cleaner - Empty Homes

Job Location:Birmingham - Field Based

Salary: £26,410 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: 39 hours per week

About the role

This role involves the cleaning of empty properties before and after work in the property has been completed, this includes pre cleans following the clearance team and before the trades operatives start work and a ready to let clean after any work / repairs have been completed ready for the new tenant to move in.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

Drivers license and access to own vehicle is essential to this role.

About you

You will have many varying responsibilities including cleaning external building from cob webs and window frames door frames, sheds and wash bin in and out, internal cleaning: door frames and doors , windows glass, kitchen: cupboards in and out, hob, sink and floor, carpet refresh.

You will use cleaning materials and consumables as recommended , following supplier`s recommended use instructions.

Checking that any safety devices within their area of responsibility are correctly fitted, adjusted, maintained and are in good working.
