Contract Details:

• Full Time, Permanent
• Location: Based in the Bovington/Blanford area, with travel across wider locations
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00AM to 5:00PM)
• Salary: £22,000 to £24,000 depending on experience

We are seeking an organised and motivated Void Maintenance Officer to join our Voids team in Portsmouth. Your primary responsibility will be managing properties in void maintenance, ensuring they do not deteriorate or become damaged, and reporting repairs needed.

You will be assigned work tasks to self-schedule, travel using a provided work van, and conduct inspections of properties to ensure they are secure, weatherproof, and in good repair. You will document your findings and report maintenance needs weekly and monthly.

Additional duties include producing site survey reports when a MoD family moves out, documenting property conditions, and adjusting or draining systems to prevent damage, along with collecting mail.

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in housing or property maintenance is ideal.
• Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to cover multiple estates and wider locations.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working alone, with a willingness to operate within MOD or property maintenance environments.
• Ability to pass BPSS Clearance.
