Location: Hybrid Working (located at either Newbury, Manchester or Leeds Office)
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday.

Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.

What you’ll do

This is an operational role, focusing on the Release Management function. Following common ITIL policies and procedures in support of release and change. You will ensure management of customer solutions aligns with operational support processes where possible. As well as adhering to agreed QA standards and Accreditation requirements. You will drive quality assurance across the service lifecycle, ensuring no major self-inflicted faults or outages from change and provide ownership of this function for the customer.

You will:

  • Take ownership of Network Ops Lifecycle Management process
  • Co-ordinate engineering resource for applicable patches (testing, second line assessment)
  • Liaise with internal operations and project teams as well as the customer to manage patching schedule
  • Update patch records
  • Carry out customer reporting (includes calls and meetings)
  • Take ownership and management of release processes and templates
  • Get involved in some out of hours working for co-ordinating releases on complex applications

Who you are

You will have:

  • Strong customer and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge and experience of ITIL best practices
  • An ability to produce quality documentation
  • Previous change or release management process operation and ownership
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • ITIL V3/V4 qualification in Release Management preferable or other ITIL qualification
  • A background in IT Services and (or) Telecoms Sector.
