This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading organisation as a Product Manager for Mobile Private Networks to lead on the product development, innovation, market research, lifecycle and rationalisation roadmaps for Vodafone UK.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll be responsible for the E2E new product development for Mobile Private Networks from new feature development, continuous improvement, product life-cycle management. You'll manage both group and local stakeholders to develop the roadmap and own the deployment strategy for UK.

  • You'll need to work externally with our suppliers and partners and align across all local and group teams when it comes to defining UK product strategy and vision.
  • You will own the P&L for MPN and associated revenue for UK
  • You'll direct the product owners to make sure product delivery meet specific customer, commercial and strategic objectives to expand Vodafone's leadership position and market share and support our sales teams to achieve this.
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.

New product introduction

  • Accountable for new product development
  • Be a key part of the UK business 5G squad and reflect the product vision on the decisions that needs taking.
  • Determine Enterprise customer needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information
  • Define new product features, ensuring these are aligned to the customer experience and outcomes. Working with Technology Product Owner to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Take accountability for product documentation, communication and awareness of the product, both internally and externally, and especially at the time of launch - working closely and with the support of the Go to Market team.
  • Support pre-sales on inquiries related to 5G products roadmap and strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the performance of the product/s across customer experience, profit and revenue.
  • Recommend future product lines that underpin future revenue and margin growth
  • Deliver product business cases for sign-off by local commercial and business unit decision-making bodies

In-Life product management

  • Assess and lead continuous improvement activities for products within their portfolio
  • Handle escalation of product issues, prepare risk mitigation plans and lead on delivering solutions
  • Ensure all local internal and external product communications are up to date
  • Provide product consultancy and expertise to sell, deliver and manage customer's in-life
  • Continuously review of product against plan and ensuring product delivers against business case and deliver continuous product improvement to ensure product evolves to meet market and customer demands
  • Forecast, track, analyse and report on product performance and KPI's ensuring product performance meets business & divisional needs

Product exit

  • Accountable for product decommissioning in the market at the end of lifecycle
  • Conduct regular vendor assessment against in-life updates and product roadmap & ensure product performance is monitored to identify product retirement candidates
  • Ensure adherence to Group and Kona rationalisation strategies.

Who you are

  • Have solid understanding of Wireless Networks Market in UK and across the world
  • Have track record of delivering 5G solutions and use cases across key verticals (Transport, Education, Health and Manufacturing)
  • Have track record in delivering multi-million pound CAPEX investment and launching new product
  • Have good understanding of Agile methodologies and product management principles
  • Enthusiastic about new technologies and have the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Great communication and presentation skills
