Job summary

Vodafone Group plc in London/Newbury hybrid is seeking a data tagging and analytics specialist to own tagging, tracking and data capture across assigned journeys and platform areas, ensuring accuracy and alignment with measurement requirements.

You’ll perform QA and validation on new features, maintain comprehensive documentation, and collaborate with product, UX, brand, engineering and CRO teams to embed measurement needs into delivery.

  • Document measurement requirements, tagging guidelines and event schemas.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tagging, tracking and data capture implementation across your assigned journeys/platform areas, ensuring accuracy and adherence to measurement requirements.
  • Execute QA and validation activity on new features, releases, propositions and journey updates, flagging and resolving any data defects.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for your area including measurement requirements, tagging guidelines, schemas, event tracking documentation and data dictionaries.
  • Work with product, UX, brand, engineering and CRO teams to ensure measurement needs are understood and integrated into delivery plans.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data issues, identifying tagging gaps, incorrect triggers, or schema inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of new data capabilities such as server side tagging, event based tracking or advanced measurement techniques.
  • Support the wider digital insights and analytics community by ensuring consistent, reliable data is available for dashboards, analysis, CRO testing and reporting.
  • Monitor tracking integrity across your scope, proactively identifying anomalies or degradation in data quality.
  • Drive standardisation by applying reusable tagging patterns, measurement frameworks and shared documentation approaches.
  • Support the Lead in governance forums and readiness checkpoints by providing updates on tracking status, data readiness, risks and dependencies.

Location: London OR Newbury + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

Who you are
  • Own and lead priority initiatives to support planning, prioritisation and delivery of the Vodafone Mobile CX plan
  • Define key CX drivers and underlying problems or opportunities to address (incl. deep dives/ root cause analysis)
  • Develop insights to shape the programme, considering customer, regs, ops and commercial impacts
  • Present insight & recommendations to L3 decision makers, influencing investment and prioritisation decisions
  • Lead delivery of mobile CX workstreams end to end, aligning cross functional owners, managing dependencies, escalating blockers and tracking delivery through to measurable customer benefitsOwn programme updates for mobile CX governance, monitoring & reporting KPIs, ensuring clarity on overall plan status, risks, dependencies, preparing CR capex investment options and decisions required
  • Drive prioritisation of defect fixes, CRs and remediation initiatives
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and continuous delivery pipelines
