Join Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) for Vodafone UK and support in providing world-class Secure Solutions for our Enterprise clients.

What you’ll do

To provide in-depth Threat Research and Detection Engineering for the VBSE Cyber Engineering team. Support to a SOC team that provides monitoring of SIEM systems, managed firewall and IPS services for both Vodafone and its customers.

• Research Threats and Vulnerabilities related to Vodafone and its systems
• Lead Detection Engineering – Monitor Threat Intelligence TTPs, model threats and develop proactive detection logic
• Recommend tools/processes to defend Vodafone and its customers from attacks
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support to SOC Analysts, review their reports, identify trends across multiple systems/customers.

Who you are

• Experience of working in Cyber/SOC, ideally in an telecoms/ISP environment
• Understanding of research and analytical techniques - Ability to identify patterns of behaviour, indications of compromise in large datasets
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework or similar for adversary tactics and techniques mapping.
• Bespoke Tool Development
• Knowledge of IP/Ethernet equipment and principles
• Must be able to maintain DV security clearance
