  • Experience working closely with operations, product, creative, and communications/press functions
  • Experience supporting or working alongside curation or editorial leadership in a VOD or digital content environment
  • Ability to remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Proven ability to deliver high volumes of creative output at scale
  • Experience of Agile working, collaboratively and cross-functionally with other teams is advantageous.
Technical Expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other image design/editing tools (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong understanding of digital image specifications, formats, and platform requirements
  • Disciplined/diligent with image source and copyright details
  • Experience with digital asset management systems and workflow tools
  • Familiarity with automation, templating, and batch-processing techniques is highly desirable
Skills & personal qualities
  • Strong, credible leader with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Highly adaptable, able to pivot quickly as business priorities evolve
  • Excellent collaborator, skilled at building relationships across diverse teams
  • Detail-oriented with a strong eye for visual quality and brand consistency
  • Resilient and composed under pressure, with the ability to manage complexity and multiple deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and work across multiple brands and genres with differing audiences.
  • Passionate about TV content with strong editorial merchandising judgement, plus a strong knowledge and awareness of the VOD landscape and emerging trends
  • A self-starter with the ability to think conceptually but also drive ideas forward.
What you will get to work on…key outputs and responsibilities of the role
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of VOD image designers, setting clear direction and maintaining high performance standards
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-volume VOD imagery across multiple platforms, ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness
  • Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders across operations, product, creative, communications/press picture desk, and external partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, workflows, and delivery expectations
  • Work closely with and support the Head of Digital Curation, ensuring imagery aligns with curation strategy, content priorities, and audience engagement goals
  • Partner with curation and editorial teams to ensure imagery supports content discoverability and placement
  • Manage competing priorities and rapidly changing business needs, reallocating resources and adjusting plans as required
  • Develop and deliver a clear VOD imagery strategy, with the flexibility to introduce tactical changes in response to performance or shifting priorities
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and consistency across workflows
  • Ensure all assets meet platform specifications, brand standards, and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with the Curation Team to plan and execute multi-variant tests involving imagery to improve presentation and personalisation of content for users across the U estate.
  • Play an active role in the Digital Products team’s testing and implementation of systems relating to imagery
