Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Vocational Clinical Educator to support workforce training across the Trust and corporate areas, aligned to the Widening Participation Portfolio and delivering key skills programmes.

The role plans, delivers and coordinates training for the Clinical Support workforce, supports apprenticeships at all levels, assesses learners in clinical practice, and collaborates with Higher Education Institutes to meet organisational

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and co-ordinate training for the Clinical Support workforce Trust wide.
• Deliver induction programmes for new recruits in collaboration with Higher Education Institutes.
• Assess clinical competence and deliver Foundations of Care, Care Certificate and mandatory training.
• Support apprenticeships of all levels, monitor progress and provide pastoral and tutorial support.
• Identify learning needs and contribute to the learning needs analysis for corporate areas.
