Job Title: VNA or Counterbalance Forklift Operative

Location: Millshaw Industrial Park, Leeds LS11 area

Employment Type: Full-Time-Temporary, Temp-to-Permanent

Hourly Rate: Between £12.21 - £13.00 DOE + OT, weekend work & shift premiums.

Shift Patterns: Immediate starts on 2PM-10PM. Other shifts available: (please specify if interested in different shifts)

• 05:00am-1:00pm (Temp to Perm)
• 08:00am-4:00pm (Ongoing)
• 10:00am-6:00pm (Ongoing)
• 2:00pm-10:00pm (Ongoing)
• 12:00am-8:00am (Ongoing)

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Operate VNA or Counterbalance forklifts to move and store pharmaceutical products.
• Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch following company protocols.
• Inventory Management: Assist in stock rotation and inventory checks.
• Loading/Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and report faults.
• Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues and supervisors to meet operational goals.

Requirements

• Licensing: Valid VNA or Counterbalance forklift license (preferred).
• Experience: Previous forklift operation experience in a warehouse.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in order picking and inventory.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written skills.
• Flexibility: Willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Qualifications

• Additional licences (e.g., Reach, Bendi-Flexi, Scissor Lift).
• Experience with warehouse management systems and scanning devices.
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
