Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland with a warehouse operation in Witham, Essex, seeks a reliable VNA/Counterbalance Forklift Driver. Induction pays £13.50/hr and after successful probation, £14.56/hr for the permanent late shift, on a Monday to Friday schedule.

You will operate VNA and/or counterbalance forklifts, load/unload stock, wrap pallets and replenish stock while keeping safe, tidy areas. Training toward a VNA licence is offered with £250 toward the cost, reimbursed after probation.

Responsibilities

• Operating VNA and/or Counterbalance forklifts safely.

• Moving, stacking and wrapping pallets.
• Stock replenishment and put-away.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

VNA / Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location

Temporary to Permanent

Pay & Shifts

£13.50 per hour during the induction and training period
£14.56 per hour once successfully signed off and moved onto the permanent late shift
Monday to Friday
Training Shift: 6:00am - 3:00pm
Permanent Shift: 3:00pm - 12:00am

We are looking for a reliable and experienced VNA Forklift Driver to join their established warehouse team in Witham. We will also consider Counterbalance Forklift Drivers who are keen to gain their VNA licence and develop their career.

VNA Training Opportunity

If you hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence but do not currently have a VNA licence, they will support your training.

• Contribute £250 towards your VNA licence
• Upon successful completion of your probation period, the full £250 will be reimbursed

Training & Induction

For the first few weeks, you will work the 6:00am - 3:00pm shift to complete your induction and training programme. Once successfully completed, you will move permanently onto the 3:00pm - 12:00am late shift, where the hourly rate increases to £14.56 per hour.

Duties Include:

• Operating VNA and/or Counterbalance forklifts safely
• Loading stock into warehouse racking
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving, stacking and wrapping pallets
• Stock replenishment and put-away
• Working within a busy, established warehouse environment
• Following all Health & Safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
