Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an experienced VNA Operative (Rider-Up) for our Knowsley warehouse. You will operate a Very Narrow Aisle forklift to move, store and retrieve stock safely within high racking and support production training to become a multi-skilled operative.

Key requirements include a valid VNA Rider Up licence, proven VNA warehouse experience, and the ability to work safely in tight spaces and at height.

Qualifications

• Valid VNA Rider Up licence (inhouse licences accepted).
• Previous experience operating a VNA truck in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work safely in tight spaces and at height.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a VNA forklift truck safely within narrow aisles and high racking.
• Store, pick and relocate pallets with accuracy.
• Support inbound and outbound activities.
• Conduct pre-shift safety checks and report any faults.
• Maintain accurate records and follow warehouse processes.
• Assist the production teams when required.
• Upskill to assist with production machinery on a higher pay rate.

VNA Operative (Rider-Up)

Pay: Starting at £13.82 - increases after training
Location: Knowsley, L34
Shifts: 07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00
Days: 4-on-4-off (2 days, 2 nights)

You must have a VNA Rider-Up licence to apply for this role, we cannot accept a Counterbalance or Reach.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced VNA Forklift Operative to join our busy warehouse operation. You will be responsible for operating a Very Narrow Aisle truck to move, store and retrieve stock safely and efficiently within high‑racking systems. This is company will also look to train you on their production machines to become a Multi‑Skilled Operative.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a VNA forklift truck safely within narrow aisles and high racking
• Store, pick and relocate pallets with accuracy
• Support inbound and outbound activities
• Conduct pre‑shift safety checks and report any faults
• Maintain accurate records and follow warehouse processes
• Assist the production teams when required
• Eventually training and upskilling to assist with production machinery, becoming a multi‑skilled operative on a higher pay rate
