Job summary

Fresh Start Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse VNA driver to move goods around the warehouse, load and unload pallets, and assist with stock control. You will ensure pallets are secure and move them to correct storage bays according to inventory instructions.

Responsibilities include completing required paperwork, scanning pallets for stock movement, and reporting any equipment issues to the site Manager. A valid UK work entitlement is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a VNA or similar warehouse truck is preferred.
• Good understanding of inventory control and stock handling.

Job description

Our client is looking to recruit a number of VNA drivers due to business demand. You will be driving powered industrial trucks to load, unload and move the stock and deliveries to various locations in the warehouse, such as storage areas, loading docks etc.

Duties will include:

• Move goods packed on pallets around the warehouse
• Stack goods in the correct storage bays, racking etc following inventory control instructions
• Ensure loads are secure
• Complete paperwork for delivery notes and stock control if requested
• Scan the pallets and keep accurate record of stock movement (training will be provided)
• Make sure the truck is operating safely and checked daily
• Report any breakdowns, spills or malfunctions to the Manager
• Assist with other loading activities as requested
