Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a senior VMWare SME for a highly secure UK public sector project. The role is a contract for 6 months with potential extension and is onsite at Farnborough, Erskine, or Newcastle in the UK.

You will act as the technical authority for the design, deployment, and optimization of critical virtualization infrastructure (vSphere, vCenter) within a high-assurance environment, with active DV clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Deep architectural and hands-on expertise as a VMWare SME.
• VMWare vSphere (7.x/8.x) mastery.
• Experience delivering in highly regulated, secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimize virtualization infrastructure (vSphere/vCenter) in a high-assurance environment.
• Act as technical authority for VMware architecture and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with UK public sector security standards.
