Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking an IT VMO Analyst to support the effective management of technology suppliers, ensuring vendor information is accurate and aligned with business goals. You will collaborate with Partner Management, Procurement, and internal teams to support onboarding, renewals, risk management, benchmarking and tiering.

You will maintain supplier records in Ivalua, oversee governance activities, coordinate onboarding and replacement work, and monitor milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Comfortable analysing large datasets with high attention to data quality and governance.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences to build relationships.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Power BI or data visualization tools is helpful but not essential.
• Curious, proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and govern supplier records in Ivalua, improving data accuracy and completeness.
• Support supplier governance by coordinating validations, risk management, audits and reporting.

What you'll do

• Maintain and govern supplier records in Ivalua, improving the accuracy, completeness and quality of vendor data.
• Support supplier governance by coordinating service credit validation, risk management, audits and key reporting.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding, transition and replacement activity, and monitor contract renewals, sourcing activity and key milestones.
• Manage supplier documentation, including contracts, statements of work and supporting artefacts.
• Deliver supplier benchmarking and tiering activities, partnering with Partner Management, Procurement and suppliers to support informed decisions.

Who you are

• You bring strong organisation skills and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Comfortable analysing large datasets, with a close eye for detail and a focus on data quality and governance.
• Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences and build effective working relationships.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI, data visualisation or AI-enabled tools would be useful but is not essential.
• Curious, proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
