Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in Belfast seeks a Vitis Technical Marketing Engineer to enable developers and customers to adopt AMD adaptive computing platforms and Vitis software tools by creating demonstrations, tutorials, reference designs, and training materials.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams, translating real-world challenges into impactful technical content and hands-on examples, including FPGA workflows and AI-driven workloads.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FPGA development and RTL design experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL.
• Familiarity with FPGA development tools, design flows and debugging.
• Exposure to AMD adaptive computing devices and development tools preferred.
• Experience with C/C++, Python, Linux or embedded software.
• Understanding of HLS and hardware acceleration concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Interest in developer tools, technical marketing or customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Support technical marketing and developer enablement for AMD Vitis tools and platforms.
• Develop and maintain tutorials, demos, reference designs, and training materials.
• Validate and optimize Vitis workflows through hands-on development and testing.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and field teams to gather requirements and feedback.
• Support customer engagements, workshops, and technical demonstrations.
• Contribute to developer resources to improve onboarding and adoption of AMD tech.
• Stay current with FPGA, embedded systems, heterogeneous computing and AI trends.
