Job description

Role Overview:

Responsible for managing and guiding a team of visual merchandisers across multiple stores and regions. You will plan and oversee training to ensure all delivery meets company standards. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and understanding of market trends are essential. You will support the Regional Visual Manager and implement initiatives set by head office. A Visual Support Manager should be self-motivated, able to set objectives, and aim to improve store and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising:
  • Analyze sales figures, such as weekly trade reports, to identify focus areas.
  • Implement trends in-store to maximize sales.
  • Delegate and execute weekly VM pack guidelines.
  • Proactively adapt to seasonal changes, peak initiatives, and market trends.
  • Support Area Manager with regional information.
  • Participate in senior store visits from head office or retail teams.
  • Lead new store openings with the Regional Visual Manager.
  • Create appealing store layouts and optimize product placement.
  • Manage execution of new window displays for campaigns.
Communication & Vision:
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with teams and peers.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to field and head office teams.
  • Promote innovation and positive change within the workplace.
  • Encourage creative thinking and new working methods.
People & Talent:
  • Identify talent in the field.
  • Promote the visual merchandising role and its importance.
  • Contribute to training design and delivery across the region.
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills.
Travel & Personal Conduct:
  • Hold a full, clean UK driving license.
  • Be willing to travel and stay overnight as needed.
  • Manage time effectively when visiting multiple stores.
  • Plan weekly store visits in coordination with regional managers.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidence, and analytical approach in conduct.
