Job summary

Barbour is seeking a Visual Merchandising and Brand Champion to maintain a premium, heritage visual identity across stores in the North & Scotland. The role involves leading VM standards, training, and collaboration with UK Marketing, Retail, and Partner Stores to deliver locally relevant solutions.

You will travel regularly across the Northern region and Scotland, supporting seasonal campaigns and ensuring best-in-class presentation while aligning with global brand direction.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-store visual merchandising.
• Proven ability to manage teams and projects.
• Strong understanding of customer journey, fixture layouts and in-store storytelling.
• Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills.
• Travel frequently across the UK and Ireland.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Base remote with regular daily travel across Northern region and Scotland to ensure high-quality VM execution.
• Setup seasonal pop-ups, events and activations at showrooms in Newcastle and London.
• Conduct store audits and develop actionable improvement plans.
• Lead product training and showroom rollouts through workshops and guidelines.
• Localise global VM guidelines for doors and seasonal launches.
• Coach in-store teams on brand standards and merchandising.
• Collaborate with Store Managers to develop Brand Specialists.
• Produce weekly VM reports for VM Manager and Retail team.
• Assist with brand showroom setup in South Shields and London.
• Conduct competitor analysis and report trends.
