Job Opportunity: Technical Support for Visual Arts and Design Department

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a graduate, alumni, experienced technician, or someone looking to further their practice to support a thriving Visual Arts and Design Department. This role encompasses various disciplines and creative projects.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual with strong technical knowledge and expertise in one of the following areas: Screen Printing, Photography (analog & darkroom), Adobe Creative Suite, or Textiles (machining skills). Additionally, a general understanding of supporting a fully equipped Art department is essential.

Our facilities include a darkroom and photography studio, print room with exposure bed, print press, Mac suite, digital equipment, and textiles facilities.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain art department facilities and equipment
  • Assist students and staff with technical aspects of their projects
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met
