Job Title: Visitor Experience Assistant (catering)
Salary: £12.21 per hour for candidates aged 18+
Hours: Zero hour contract
Location: Windermere Jetty Museum. You may occasionally be asked to work at our other Lakeland Arts museums.
Reporting to: Visitor Experience
Term: Zero hour contract

Purpose

As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering a fantastic visitor experience at Windermere Jetty Museum Café. You will be serving customers and making up drink and cake orders, clearing, running food and pot washing in our busy café environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• To serve customers taking food and drink orders using our till system.

• Clear tables, pot wash and ensure that the counter and tables are kept clean and presentable at all times.

• Prepare drink and cake orders (barista training available if required).

• Ensure the fridges and counters are always well stocked.

• The role will have responsibilities relating to the opening and closing procedures and for the health and safety procedures for each area.
